Enrollment and degree verification

Arizona State University provides official verification of a student’s enrollment status or earned degrees. Enrollment status (full-time, part-time, etc.) is based on the number of credits a student is enrolled in during the requested term. Withdrawn courses are not included. Audit classes count toward total enrolled hours.

ASU reports enrollment status to the National Student Clearinghouse multiple times each semester. Status definitions follow federal regulations and university policy and are defined in the financial aid load tables below.

Standard Enrollment Verification (EV)

Official proof of enrollment (with university registrar signature and university seal) for insurance, scholarships, loan deferment, employers, and more.

Available in  My ASU. Includes enrollment status, academic standing, expected graduation, and degree (if applicable). Widely accepted by third parties.

Tip: Our standard EV meets most agency and employer requirements. University Registrar Services does not complete third-party forms.

Specialized Enrollment Verification Special cases such as Canadian/Alaskan forms, transient letters, or when specific details like language of instruction are needed.Submit a request using the Specialized EV form. Check if the standard EV will meet your needs first.
Enrollment Verification with Disciplinary Records Common Applications, College Reports, Board of Law Examiners. Submit a request using the Specialized EV form. These enrollment verifications and associated forms are forwarded to the Dean of Students for disciplinary records. Please allow for additional processing time.
Official Transcript

Graduate school, jobs, licensure, or other official academic verification.

Request through My ASU. Each copy costs $15 and includes your full academic record (courses, grades, GPA, and degrees). This document cannot be modified or customized.

Pending Graduation Letter

Confirming pending graduation or degree conferral if you have applied to graduate.

Submit a request using the Graduation Letter Request form.

Requests must be submitted through the National Student Clearinghouse. ASU does not provide verifications directly to third parties.

If a match is found, requestors will receive instant access to a PDF or printable verification. A fee applies.
